Northeast Nigeria has seen conflict and pervasive humanitarian need for more than a decade. The presence of violent non-state actors including Boko Haram in the northeastern Lake Chad Basin, food insecurity, and climate change has impacted livelihoods, forced millions to flee their homes, and left even more in need of humanitarian assistance.
What Must Be Done?
Refugees International is calling on the Nigerian government and international donors alike to allow aid groups to implement a holistic aid response.
