2025 Refugees International Advocacy Awards

Refugees International’s Advocacy Awards brings together passionate defenders of refugees and celebrates the tireless efforts of refugee leaders and civil society activists who dedicate themselves to humanitarian causes. The event raises funds to support our shared work to advance the rights and safety of people seeking refuge.

This year’s event will celebrate community, and the resilience we build when we come together in the fight for refugee rights. The evening honors the memory of Refugees International founders Sue and Charlie Morton, whose lifelong dedication to justice inspires faith in the vision for a more welcoming world that we work each day to manifest together.

We are thrilled to announce that Ezra Klein will be joining us at our Advocacy Awards on May 7 for a fireside chat, diving deep into ideas on what it will take to build a more welcoming world. Ezra Klein is a political commentator and journalist. He is a New York Times Opinions columnist; host of the podcast “The Ezra Klein Show”; author of “Why We’re Polarized” and co-author of “Abundance: How We Build a Better Future.”
