Augustin Ntabaganyimana
Augustin Ntabaganyimana joined the Refugees International in 2020. A Rwandan refugee who sought refuge in the Congo and was deeply impacted by the conflict in that country, he is currently serving as Executive Director for the Family Investment Administration at the Maryland Department of Human Services. He is a dedicated leader with over 20 years of experience helping children and their families access the resources they need to meet their basic needs. Previously, he served as the Deputy Executive Director for Programs at the Maryland Department of Human Services and as the Refugee Coordinator for the State of Maryland.
Mr. Ntabaganyimana began his career as a case manager in Massachusetts. He went on to hold the position of Deputy Director of a local office of the International Rescue Committee before assuming the state government positions he has held. Mr. Ntabaganyimana holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a B.S. in Business Administration from Rivier University.
