Peter Kidi
Peter Kidi is a poet, writer, and refugee activist living in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya. His work explores themes of displacement, justice, survival, and hope through storytelling and poetry. He uses art as a tool for advocacy, amplifying the voices of refugees and the host community while documenting the realities of life in Kakuma – from food cuts and water shortages to protests and the struggle for dignity. Kidi’s writing has been featured in collaborations with institutions such as the London School of Economics, Oxfam, The New Humanitarian, and King’s College London.
