Sabiha Khan is no longer with Refugees International.

Sabiha Khan was the senior external relations officer at Refugees International. In May 2019, she earned her MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with concentrations in Conflict Management and International Economics. Previously, Sabiha served as a field representative for California Senator Dianne Feinstein in Los Angeles, California. For five years, she worked alongside Senator Feinstein’s legislative team in D.C., served as a liaison for advocacy organizations throughout Southern California, and maintained a broad portfolio of federal policy issues including human trafficking, child welfare, and immigration. Sabiha completed a programs assistant internship with AMAR International Charitable Foundation (AMAR U.S.) in Washington, D.C., working to support sustainable development solutions for IDPs in Iraq through the provision of emergency and medical aid, health care, women’s empowerment, and human rights programs. She has a BA from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in Political Science and Middle Eastern and North African Studies.
