BBC: Actor Matt Dillon lends his voice to Rohingya refugees

A migrant crisis has been sparked in Asia by Rohingya Muslims trying to flee persecution in Myanmar.

In the first quarter of 2015, refugee agencies estimate that some 25,000 people have attempted to cross the Bay of Bengal - often on makeshift vessels.

In early June, American actor Matt Dillon travelled to Rakhine, one of Myanmar's poorest states to draw attention to the conditions there.

He and Refugees International President Michel Gabaudan sat down with the BBC's Laura Trevelyan to discuss the ongoing crisis.
