Refugees International Launches Advisory Council 

WASHINGTON—Refugees International announced today the launch of an expert Advisory Council comprised of 31 extraordinary individuals involved in international refugee and humanitarian issues in the United States and around the world. Advisory Council members will advance the mission of Refugees International by providing guidance and advice on policy, practice, and advocacy to the Refugees International staff and board of directors.

The Advisory Council includes members from the United States and from around the world, including many of America’s most distinguished former diplomats and national security officials, prominent international figures involved in human rights and humanitarian, and refugees and former refugees who are deeply involved in humanitarian policy issues.

Eric Schwartz, president of Refugees International commented that –
