17th Annual New York Circle: Act for Refugees

The 17th Annual New York Circle takes place at a critical time as more than 70.8 million people have been forced to flee their homelands due to conflict, persecution, and extreme climate-related disasters.

Refugees International’s New York Circle brings together over 300 people to honor individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and commitment protecting the rights and well-being of refugees and others who have been forcibly displaced around the world.

Each year, Refugees International presents the Exceptional Service Award to honor the notable work of journalists, activists, and others whose service has an indelible impact on the lives of the most vulnerable women, men, and children around the world – the very people for whom Refugees International advocates.

As international crises worsen, the United Nations Refugee Agency reports the number of individuals displaced globally as more than 65 million, surpassing last year's number and unprecedented since the Second World War.

Please join us to meet RI advocates and other courageous individuals working to resolve these crises and reverse the trend of increasing displacement. We hope you will be able to be with us for another evening of animated and thoughtful discussion.
