Audrey Smith, development coordinator

Audrey Smith is the development coordinator for Refugees International and is primarily responsible for providing strategic support to the development team’s comprehensive fundraising efforts. She holds a Bachelor of Science in public health from the University of Georgia. Audrey focused her academic studies and campus involvement in violence prevention, including leading a service-learning trip of 20 other students to learn about human trafficking awareness and advocacy in the American south. Prior to joining RI, she was a policy and partnerships intern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and, most recently, served as an AmeriCorps VISTA service member based in Athens, Georgia, where she gained experience in all aspects of nonprofit fundraising and development.
