US Fed News: Sen. Boxer issues statement on joint foreign relations hearing on rape and violence against women in conflict zones

The office of Sen. Barbara A. Boxer, D-Calif., issued the following news release: U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), along with Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI), today chaired a joint hearing of the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on International Operations and Organizations, Human Rights, Democracy and Global Women's Issues and the Subcommittee on African Affairs. The hearing is titled, "Confronting Rape and Other Forms of Violence Against Women in Conflict Zones - Spotlight: Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan."
