Planned gifts provide the resources that create extraordinary opportunities and preserve Refugees International’s future. Our programs depend upon your goodwill. To that end, there are a myriad of easy giving options from which you can choose – from naming Refugees International as a beneficiary in your will to a more complex trust arrangement.
If you are interested in making a planned gift to RI, please contact the Development Office on 202-828-0110 x202.
Leave your legacy by making a gift in your will. A bequest is a formal way of specifying your final wishes about how best to dispose of your estate while sparing your loved ones a lot of confusion and anguish in your absence. It is also a way to support causes you care about.
Suggested Wording for Bequests in Wills or Trusts:
"I give and bequeath to Refugees International, of Washington DC, ___________ (insert dollar amount, percentage of estate, or description of securities or property, etc.) to be used for its general purposes (or insert the name of a program)."
Special Note: For the greatest flexibility in responding to the needs of refugees around the world, Refugees International prefers bequests to be made for our general charitable purposes.
Let Us Know
We hope you’ll tell us if you have named Refugees International in your will. We would very much like the opportunity to thank you for your generosity.
