Visual Mission: Rumbek, Southern Sudan

Most aid and other supplies arrive in Rumbek and other towns and villages in southern Sudan by air from Kenya, although some humanitarian aid comes in by truck from Kenya and Uganda.  There is little communication between northern Sudan, controlled by the government, and the portion of southern Sudan controlled by the SPLM.  Many villages, isolated by war, receive food by airdrops.
