Many of the people left behind are those who are too ill or fragile to move. While fuel is entering the country, electricity and services in the South are uncertain. This man has decided to stay in Beirut with his mother. "My mother has heart problems. I took her to the clinic here in this park and they ordered a lot of tests at the hospital. Since there is no knowing if there is assistance in Sidon, where we are from, I will keep my mother here in Beirut. I will check on our house in Sidon but stay here until we know for sure what the situation is."
