Instead of utilizing the warehouse, students were studying in a large space covered with a tin roof and open to the wind, with class after class from grade school to high school meeting side by side. Because there are no storage facilities in the makeshift school building, OfERR provided the students with cubbies where they could store their books in their temporary homes. As in Nasivanthivu, the concern here is that with the rainy season looming, it will become impossible to hold class with rain blowing in through the open sides of the makeshift classrooms.
