A full-size industrial kitchen lies decrepit and unused, covered by filth and animal droppings. Just outside this kitchen in the courtyard, women prepare the evening meal for the cadets, as hundreds of flies buzz around. There is no electricity to run the freezers and not enough chairs for all of the cadets to eat at once. Some have to stand to eat their dinner.
