This Rohingya family lives in a thatched roof hut in one of the refugee camps. Families in the refugee camps receive food rations from the World Food Program; health care is provided by the government of Bangladesh; and UNHCR provides assistance for housing, education, sanitation, and other services. UNHCR also has a protection program to help prevent refugees from being harassed or forced to agree to repatriation by local authorities or camp leaders. Services provided to refugees are only barely adequate.
