The living conditions for asylum seekers in Venezuela are extremely poor. This woman arrived in Venezuela two years ago, and she is still living in a shelter constructed of plastic sheeting. She has seven children and she recently had twins. Her husband is invalid. In order to earn money, she puts together clothes pins. She earns .50 cents for 250 dozen. She has applied for refugee status.
