The hospital’s Nutritional Feeding Ward is populated by war’s most vulnerable victims – the children. In this ward, dozens of infants are suffering from malnutrition and are receiving lifesaving food and nutrients from the Italian NGO, COOPI. In some ways, these are the lucky ones. Every day, an unknown number outside of Bunia are dying because there are no hospitals or treatment available to them.
