This Sudanese woman is 18 years old. She is homeless in the camp and her child is sick. She was kicked out of the home of the foster family where she lived when she gave birth to her child. The woman’s foster family views her as a burden and not marriageable. She cannot bring the family any profit through a dowry, so she is forced to sleep outside. The father of her child comes and goes from the camp and refuses to support his child. Sleeping outside has led her child to become sick. "I do not know what do," she tells RI. "I cannot live without shelter."
