Before coming to Toe Town, Liberia, this 14-year old Ivoirian refugee spent one month with rebels in western Cote d'Ivoire. She explained to RI that she had been captured by French-speaking rebels in Toulepleu and was forced to be a servant and a sex slave. She explained, “I cooked and cleaned for them. Also, one man, he was not my husband and I did not know him, put his sex in me. He would trap me and force his sex in me.” She had no idea how to find her family and has now had to run from conflict for the second time without her family.
