This woman is an expert weaver of Phnong traditional fabric. She is wearing a skirt and carrying a bag made out of this material. She is part of a six-member weaving group in Oreang district in Mondulkiri. The looms are small and cost just a few dollars, but even an investment of this size is beyond the capacity of most Phnong families. CFDS is considering supplying funds for the purchase of more looms, which would be centrally located and used to train other women in weaving.
