Chok Mom and her family benefited from food assistance, which in turn was used to purchase vegetable seeds and housing materials and to clear additional land. CFDS does excellent work in sitting down with families and strategizing together with them as to how the food support can be leveraged to have a long-term economic impact. Mom showed her visitors an impressive vegetable garden planted with seeds purchased from the sale of the rice provided by WFP through CFDS.
Your support helps us save lives throughout the world.
