Wooden school in Cambodia

Cambodia 2002
01/06/2003

In addition to providing food assistance to individual families, CFDS works with communities and local government officials to identify food-for-work projects. These projects typically involve building or repairing schools, digging wells, repairing a short stretch of road, or building bridges. This school, in Orona village, was built by 75 Phnong families who collectively received more than 10 tons of food for their labor. The school serves 60 students.
