In Pakistan, many NGOs have made girls’ education a priority, and donors and NGOs support refugee girls’ schools in camps and in urban settings. Many refugee girls in Pakistan do not have access to these opportunities, but in comparison to Afghanistan, more refugee girls are able to attend school. The classroom pictured here is located in Shamshatoo refugee camp near Peshawar.
