Bangladesh 2004: stateless Bihari girl

11/20/2004

A stateless Bihari girl works in a settlement camp in Bangladesh. Since the war between East and West Pakistan, many Biharis, who consider themselves Pakistani, have found themselves unwelcome in both Bangladesh and Pakistan. As their fight for survival continues, most Bihari families have found that they must rely on the employment of their children in order to make ends meet.
